Here is a poster I recently did for a local Tacoman. This is a portrait of his son if he was a racecar from the Disney/Pixar movie Cars. It is 11x17 and is going to be used to print a poster for his son's room. Personally I think it is a excellent idea. It was a great project to work on and I already want to make one for my own kids. I had a pretty cool idea for this week's but it would have taken a ton of work to pull off... so I gave myself until today to do it and I still didn't get it done. I went ahead and created this timely fake holiday themed DNotD as a replacement. Next week I home to post my original idea. It will be different than any DNotDs that have come before it... and it will be co-written by my son. Stay tuned for the debut of the Adventures of Tigerboy! in DNotD #20... next Monday.

donutsmas reminder

Last year after loosing 100lbs. thanks to strict calorie counting and advice from a dietitian I decided to make my own holiday during which I would not feel bad about eating a donut. Cause I love donuts but good god they make me fat.

Now, one year and 50lbs. lighter I am reenacting Donutsmas... because I still need a holiday during which I will not feel bad eating a donut.

So join me this Saturday in the absolute unbridled pleasure that is eating fried dough that is likely to be frosted, glazed or filled with unholy deliciousness.
