I am impressed, I must say. Very rarely do I come across a site that both informative and entertaining, and let me tell you, your site is important; the issue is something that not enough people are talking intelligently about.
The codes that display on the scanner are typically alphanumeric. Just about every 1 with the codes will have a matching explanation in accordance with the kind of issue that your automobile is struggling with. Those CPI systems are notorious for causing missing problems. With the proper scan tool the injectors can be actuated and a fuel leak down test can be done. There's an aftermarket spider injector kit available nec24c64 update.xprog-m v5.0 that relocates the injectors to the ports rather than the CPI unit. I have a 97 doing the same thing. HOWEVER, it is not a Multiport. Just a throttle body injection on 5.7L Vortec.So frutstrating. Lots of miles on it (180k) but all ignition components are less than 10000 miles old. any ideas? This crap is expensive.
