June 4th Frost Park Entry

Why yes, that is a flying pink elephant drinking a latte while voiding a giant rainbow out of it's butt. And yes, that is the raisin bran sun. If there wasn't such a dense bit of cloud cover over the Pacific NW I am quite confident that is what you would find up there. Why are you looking at me like that? Drawing Art Chantry

It was an abnormal Thursday night for me...

How abnormal. Well I sat in a local bar with 20+ of Tacoma's best graphic and creative professionals.

And next to me was Art Chantry. Yeah, that Art Chantry. So I did what any absurd Washingtonian Cartoonist would do. I drew him in caricature.

See for yourself.

derby chicken for bacon chocolate

This weekend a philanthropist of the highest order delivered homemade bacon chocolate bark and truffles to the Stowe house. It is already gone. I don't even like chocolate, but ended up eating the hell out of all of it. Bacon makes everything better. As a thank you I designed this thing. Don't ask me... she said 'Chicken' and i jsut went where it took me.

The Larson Commission

2 hours of work

Here is a poster I recently did for a local Tacoman. This is a portrait of his son if he was a racecar from the Disney/Pixar movie Cars. It is 11x17 and is going to be used to print a poster for his son's room. Personally I think it is a excellent idea. It was a great project to work on and I already want to make one for my own kids. As always I am available for commission work of any kind. Anyone interested in a commission should contact me at jamesstoweart@gmail.com.
